York Central showcased at UK REiiF
York Central showcased at UK REiiF, the UK’s largest property event, to unveil its new brand and regional impact, and the huge benefits York Central can bring to the region.
Based at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, UK REiiF has grown over recent years, with over 16,000 people attending from across Britain, including industry leaders, Mayors, Government Ministers and the Deputy Prime Minister.
Our vibrant York Central stand was host to a number of super interesting meetings and interactions with people from across the property industry and provided a superb platform for us to talk more about how we’re creating a brand new city quarter for York.
The event allowed York Central representatives to connect with major stakeholders from across infrastructure, transport, housing, and the investment sector. The conversations held on-site reflected York Central’s growing national significance as a transformational regeneration scheme.
By participating, York Central showcased at UK REiiF its bold vision for a connected, sustainable, and thriving future.
A high point of the event was our very own development director Karen Stafeckis taking to the stage at the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority’s Regeneration Gamechangers event, highlighting the biggest and most impactful development projects in the region. The event was the perfect place to demonstrate how York Central showcased at UK REiiF is helping to drive regeneration. Karen explained the enormous economic, social and sustainable benefits York Central will bring and the great progress being made on the infrastructure, unlocking future development with world class ambition.
Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, praising the ambitious scale, design principles, and economic benefits the York Central development brings. Many commented on the progress made in the last year and expressed interest in future phases, including commercial opportunities and residential planning.
