York Central backs York Community Fund with £150K
We're proud to announce that York Central has committed at least £150,000 for the newly established York Community Fund.
We are proud to announce that at least £150,000 will be available for the newly established York Community Fund, thanks to initial investments from the Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) and York Central Ltd.
Officially launched at the historic Merchant Adventurers’ Hall, the York community investment brings together leaders from York’s corporate, public, and charitable sectors, as the fund is a partnership between Two Ridings Community Foundation, City of York Council, York CVS, JRF, and York Together.
The launch event highlighted the critical support that local groups provide in creating thriving and connected communities. The York Community Fund aims to support local projects covering: Equality, Human Rights, Affordability, Climate Action, Health and Wellbeing.
