York Central takes part in the inaugural Momentum York conference
On Tuesday 23rd June, our very own Tom Gilman presented to more than 140 people at the inaugural Momentum York conference, celebrating York's service businesses and the vital role they play in our city's economy.
Tom’s presentation gave the audience a whistle-stop overview of the progress we’re making at York Central as we await a planning decision on phase 1 of the development.
It was a fantastic event to be part of, one where guests heard from a range of insightful speakers who explored the opportunities and challenges for York, as well as sparking inspiring conversations about its future. Most importantly, the event brought together some of the exceptional people who help advise, support, invest in and drive businesses across our city.
The day also reinforced the fact that York has an ambitious and exciting future to look forward to, with York Central playing a significant part in what great things lie ahead. It was also a real pleasure to see the passion, expertise and collaboration that exists across our professional services community.
Momentum York was delivered in partnership with York BID, York Professionals, York St. John University, HSBC, City of York Council and the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, supported by David Skaith, Mayor of York & North Yorkshire and funded by the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.
